People often ask me what feature of CluckCluck App I like best, and while that’s a little bit like trying to pick a favorite child for me, I can say that the Emergency Contacts feature gives me tremendous peace of mind.
Before Heather and I built CluckCluck, I literally kept my emergency contact list on a post-it note on my fridge. This is great in theory, but not in practice, since my nanny spends about half her time with my children not actually in my house. If they’re at the park, or at dance class, or at a playdate, that post-it note of emergency contacts is 100% useless.
But since she has CluckCluck, I know she’s always got an updated list (with click-to-dial functionality) right on her iPhone.
If your sitter doesn’t have CluckCluck (and why wouldn’t he or she? It’s free to download!), you can simply export the emergency contact list and send it to her or him via email. You can also email info about your kids’ schedules, or notes about your family if you’d like.
So in short, get your emergency contact list off of a post-it note and into your sitter’s phone! You’ll worry less knowing she can reach your pediatrician, your office, or whomever, with just one click.
