Here at CluckCluck, we talk a lot about privacy. Where to draw the line between being connected… and how to make sure you have the control you need over how your family’s information gets shared.
All of the controls you need are under the “Friends” button at the bottom of the CluckCluck screen. Lets take a quick tour:
* Finding Friends: You can use the +Chicken button in the top right corner to search for friends who have setup CluckCluck accounts. You must “friend” someone by searching for the email address they used to setup their CluckCluck account. We designed the “friending” process this way as a safety check – it helps make sure you’re only becoming CluckCluck friends with people you know in real life.
*Sharing Information with Friends: Once you’re connected to a friend, you still need to give them access to your little ones. We don’t just assume you want all your friends to see all of your info! It’s easy… Just tap on the Friend’s name, and then turn on/off access to your kiddos under “Access to My Children”.
*We Broke Up: Sometimes you want to limit access. Maybe you broke up with your sitter (random stuff happens!) or maybe you are just private (that’s ok too!). Just go back to the “Friends” tab and toggle the buttons to change up your permissions.
*We’re All Good: Once you setup a friend with access to your littles, it stays in place until you change your settings. So no worries – if your mom has access because she’s watching the kids, it won’t turn off… until you say so.
We hope you don’t have too much in the “Broke Up” column! But it happens…
In any and all cases, remember that you are in control!
All our Best!
